The first day of The Blast #5's CS:GO tournament has come to an end, with 16 teams progressing to the playoffs.
After the Gaming.dk League Finals brought a new champion in the form of Copenhagen Wolves, the community's focus has now shifted to the The Blast's CS:GO tournament, which features a total of 29 teams from all over Denmark.
These teams were drawn into eight groups, with the top two sides from each group automatically progressing to the playoffs, which will use a double-elimination format.
As usual, the Upper Bracket will use a best-of-three format, while the matches of the Lower Bracket will be played on just one map.
Wolves up against Xapso in first round
The Round of 16 is scheduled to start at 10:00 , with a nail-bitting contest between Western Wolves and Søren "socN" Falke's Xapso sure to keep the community entertained in the early hours of Saturday morning.
